What Amazon really gives
pregnant moms in the US

Three programmes worth knowing: the Welcome Box, a time-limited completion discount, and ongoing Prime family perks.

01

Welcome Box — free samples for registry holders

The Welcome Box is a curated package of full-size baby product samples — diapers, wipes, lotion, nursing pads — offered to eligible US Baby Registry holders. It is not a guaranteed gift. Amazon describes it as available while supplies last and subject to eligibility. Contents vary and are not pre-announced.

To qualify, you typically need to create a Baby Registry, add ten or more items, have a qualifying purchase (~$10) shipped from the registry to a US address, and then claim the box through your registry dashboard.

02

Completion Discount — up to 15% on remaining registry items

After your baby shower period, Amazon opens a discount window on items still on your registry. Prime members typically receive up to 15% off eligible items; non-Prime holders around 10%. This window is time-limited — usually around eight weeks — and applies to eligible products only.
